Present
Management
Management is vested in the Executive Committee, headed by Shri
Rajiv Pratap Rudy. The thumb-nail sketches of the office bearers

A
Former member of the Indian Union Council of Ministers
(Minister of State [Independent Charge], Ministry of Civil
Aviation), he is a statesman of younger generation. Highly
educated, well informed, dedicated to the cause of development
through collective efforts, he has a special soft corner
in his heart for the down trodden, destitute and disabled,
whom he has been helping selflessly these past many years
in his State, Bihar. Now that he has achieved a national
eminence, his scope of welfare activities has come to
cover the entire country.
He took over the helm of the Association only a couple
of years ago and has achieved for it many dimensional
growth. It was due to his personal involvement and efforts
that Association could celebrate its Golden Jubilee in
a stupendous manner and introduce free training for the
deaf in Computer operations. |

A
Rotarian with a rich experience in social welfare, she
is kindness personified. Dedicated to the service of the
less privileged and disadvantaged persons, she has been
working for their uplift by improving their skills and
expertise by means of education and training, first through
Rotary Club and now through the Association.
A new comer to the Association, she has endeared herself
to the members at large by extending a ready and willing
helping hand in the hour of their need. The moving force
behind various welfare activities conducted by the Association,
she liberally devotes her time, energy as well as resources
for advancing the cause of the deaf people. |

Deaf
since the age of twelve years, denizen of the world
of eternal silence these past sixty one years, he is
self taught, a graduate with second position in University.
His life's mission has been empowerment of the deaf
through education and training and their eventual socio-economic
rehabilitation.
Has
been working in the field of deaf welfare for over fifty
years now and is the spoke in the wheel giving Association,
support, stability and a spurt in its activities.

|
Executive
President of the Association for over a decade, now he
has donned the mantle of Advisor. One of the senior most
workers engaged in the welfare of the deaf in India, he
has spent a life time in advancing their cause, and fighting
for their rights.
Reputed and admired as a senior journalist and author,
deafness has not cramped his style of functioning. He
has proved to be a unifying force for the Association
and had provided it erudite leadership as Executive President.
Now advancing age has reduced his mobility but his heart
is in the right place and he remains at the beck and call
of the Association. |

Ramesh Gupta (Executive President) |
|
One of the brightest among Association's over 1300 members,
his contribution to the Association's growth has been
significant. Resources mobilization is his forte. His
extensive knowledge about rules and regulations, government
procedures, etc., has enabled him to help a large number
of Association's members solve their personal problems.
A lover of games (particularly cricket) and sports, he
is Vice Chairman of All India Sports Council of the Deaf.
He has traveled extensively in India and abroad and has
visited, Nepal, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand,
Denmark, Australia, etc.

Raiiv Sharma (Vice President) |
|
Totally devoted and dedicated to the Association, he is
one of the most active participants in its activities.
Simple and soft spoken, he makes friends easily and is
always found ready and willing to extend a helping hand
to these who need any assistance.
Employed with one of the Government of India Departments,
he is an armature photographer of repute.

Shri
Harish Kumar Chug (Vice President)
A senior member of the Association, he has held several
positions in it earlier and was for several years Association's
representative on All India Sports Council of the Deaf.
He is a well known sports promoter. For years he kept
out of day to day activities of Association because of
heavy claim on time by his professional work but has now
again come to shoulder responsibilities for the development
and growth of the Association and advancing the cause
of the deaf as a whole.

Rajiv Goel (Hony. Treasurer) |
|
A young leader in the making, he has been the Hony. Treasurer
of the Association for the last 3-4 years. He takes his
work seriously and is learning the ropes, eventually to
shoulder heavier responsibilities. He is well educated
and holding the post of Upper Divisional Clerk in one
of the Government of India Ministries successfully. |
